French full-back out to impress

French full-back Hakim Miloudi has all the more reason to impress for Doncaster for the remainder of the season.

Miloudi, 24, is set to make his Dons bow in the League 1 Super 8s iagainst Barrow this Sunday.

But, having spent time with the France World Cup training camp recently, he could claim the number one jersey for his country following the suspension handed out to regular starter Tony Gigot.

He told the club’s official website: “I’m really excited to get going and start playing for the Dons, from what I’ve seen in my first week here, we have a group of good players.

“I like to play at full-back and try to control the game, I’m quite big and have a lot of pace so can play on the wing as well.

“I think the team is ready for a big performance against Barrow, we had a defeat last week so the players want to put that right.”
