London have continued their re-building with the signing of French international half-back Tony Gigot.

Gigot, 23, made his Super League debut with Catalan in 2010, and spent last season in Australia with Cronulla, while also representing his country at the World Cup.

Broncos head coach Tony Rea said: “Tony is a player who has an opportunity to take advantages of his experiences. He comes to London following a year in Australia steering the Cronulla Sharks Premiership-winning NSW Cup team and a World Cup campaign with France.

“He has been here before as a young man. We look forward to him working hard and taking on the Super League season.”

Gigot, who hails from Avignon, made 25 appearances for the Dragons in 2010 and 2011, and also played for Toulouse in the Championship.

He had a brief spell in London with Harlequins in 2011, but failed to make a first team appearance, and played for Avignon Bisons in the French domestic competition for the first half of the 2012/13 season.
