Four Super League players charged

The RFL have confirmed that four players have been charged with offences committed in Super League Round 15 fixtures.

Corey Patterson of Salford Red Devils has been charged with Grade B striking with the elbow/forearm on Warrington Wolves player Richie Myler in the game played at A J Bell Stadium on Friday May 22.

The RFL Match Review Panel also issued a formal caution to Patterson for raising his knees in the tackle on Ben Westwood in the 3rd minute.

Salford Red Devils player Adam Walne has been charged with two Grade C offences. Walne made dangerous contact on Warrington Wolves player Chris Hill in the same fixture at A J Bell Stadium.

Ian Henderson of Catalans Dragons has been charged with making Grade B dangerous contact on John Bateman of Wigan Warriors in the tie played at Stade Gilbert Brutus on Saturday May 23.

Castleford Tigers player Ryan Bailey has been charged with Grade A punching Huddersfield Giants player Brett Ferres in the fixture played at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Thursday May 21.

Henderson and Bailey have until 11am on Tuesday May 26 to submit Early Guilty Pleas (EGP).

Patterson and Walne do not have the option of submitting an EGP and will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday evening.
