Four players to answer charges
Four players will appear before the RFL Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday evening to answer charges brought following incidents in their teams’ Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-final last weekend.
Leeds Rhinos centre Keith Senior has been charged with a Grade A offence after kicking out at Joel Tomkins in the 43rd minute in his side’s victory against Wigan Warriors on Saturday.
Wigan Warriors’ Andy Coley has been charged with a Grade A dangerous throw on Leeds Rhinos’ Brett Delaney at Headingley Carnegie on Saturday.
Warrington Wolves second rower Ben Westwood been charged with the Grade A offence of use in the forearm in a tackle in the 59-minute at The Grattan Stadium on Sunday.
Bradford Bulls’ Paul Sykes has been charged with a Grade A dangerous throw on Chris Hicks in the 74th minute in his side’s home defeat against Warrington Wolves.
All four players were charged after the incidents were viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel on Tuesday.
