Four players banned following Salford and Catalan brawl

Salford trio Jacob Emmitt, Lee Jewitt and Darrell Griffin and Catalan’s Remi Casty have all been banned for punching offences in Friday’s Super League clash between the two sides.

Emmitt and Jewitt were both suspended for one match after appearing in front of a RFL Disciplinary Tribunal on Tuesday night.

Casty was also banned for one match while Griffin was handed a two match ban after both players submitted Early Guilty Pleas in relation to their offences.

Catalan duo Ian Henderson and Greg Mounis avoided suspension, as did Huddersfield’s Larne Patrick and Castleford’s Grant Millington, after all submitting Early Guilty Plea’s following Grade A punching offences.
