Former Widnes Vikings and Swinton half-back Lewis Else is set to ply his trade in League 1 once again in 2023.
The 22-year-old featured for the Lions last season, having been released at the conclusion of the campaign.
Work commitments limited Else to 13 appearances for Swinton during their promotion-winning year, in which he crossed for six tries.
He joined Widnes Vikings at the age of 15, having played his junior rugby at Wigan St Pats. He progressed through the ranks at the club before making his senior debut in the final match of the 2019 campaign.
Else returned from an injury to make 15 appearances in 2021 for the club, before joining Allan Coleman’s Swinton in 2022.
Love Rugby League understands that the the talented youngster is set feature in League 1 again next season, with an announcement due imminently.

Swinton most recently confirmed the retirement of utility Lewis Charnock. They have added the likes of Scott Parnaby, Liam Cooper, Kenny Baker and Gavin Rodden to their 2023 squad for their Championship campaign.
Skipper Rhodri Lloyd was the first to commit his future to the club with an extended deal. Mike Butt, Dan Abram, Nick Gregson, Mitch Cox, Billy Brickhill, Louis Brogan and Jordan Case have also all re-signed.
