Former New Zealand Warriors and London Broncos star Karl Temata is set to feature in ‘London’s Big Day Out’ event, with the best London-based Australian and New Zealand players clashing.

The former utility player is set to feature in the Trans Tasman Clash at the London Big Day Out.

Temata joined London in 2005 and made over 130 appearances for the capital’s side, as well as representing Cook Island in the 2000 World Cup.

On the event, a West Warriors representative said: “The fixture is a representative game featuring the best Australians and New Zealanders in the London League. Wests Warriors have 21 players between the two sides.

“This is the third time these sides have met with the Aussies currently holding a 2-0 advantage. Temata is involved with the Reading RLFC and is a huge boost to the Kiwis side. He brings nearly 200 games of first grade experience to a side already bolstered with Championship, Queensland Cup and Toyota Cup players.

“The match kicks off at 4pm at Grasshoppers Rugby Club as the final event on the cards at the London Big Day Out. After that there is music and food and an after party at the Clapham Grand.”
