Former Hull FC coach Lee Radford lands new role in rugby union

Drew Darbyshire

Former Hull FC boss Lee Radford has joined new American rugby union franchise Dallas Jackals as their defensive coach.

Radford parted ways with Hull in March and will link up with the Texas-based club in October. Dallas Jackals compete in the Major League Rugby competition.

Radford told Sky Sports: “I’m really excited to take such an opportunity. It’s the path I wanted my career to take and to do it in the States, I’m extremely grateful for.

“Working alongside Allen Clarke, Phil Camm and Elaine Vassie, I can’t wait to develop as a coach and putting a really solid foundation in place for the club moving forward.”
