Batley have signed former Hull centre Jack Logan ahead of the 2021 Championship season.

The 25-year-old scored 13 tries in 40 appearances for Hull between 2014-19.

Logan joined Doncaster ahead of last season, making three appearances for the League 1 side before the campaign was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Batley coach Craig Lingard said: “Jack is a really exciting talent, very powerful and with speed to burn. We’re thrilled to have him join us at Batley.”

Logan said: “It all happened really quickly. I spoke to Kieran (Buchanan) early in the week and he put me in touch with Linners, 24 hours later there was a deal signed.

“I’m very excited to be here and can’t wait to get going. Everyone has been really welcoming.”

Batley’s first game of 2021 is in the Challenge Cup first round against Halifax on March 20.
