Flanagan In Quest To Educate Future RL Bosses

Correspondent

Former Great Britain international Terry Flanagan is setting about trying to arm the next generation of Super League directors and executives with the core skills required to run a successful business.

Working alongside the University & College of Football Business (UCFB) at Burnley Football Club’s Turf Moor stadium, Flanagan has developed a diploma in rugby league business management which will be piloted this summer.

Harvard-educated Flanagan, who played for Oldham in the 1980s and won four caps for Great Britain, has designed the course alongside worldwide business executives. The course has been given full approval by the Rugby Football League (RFL) and the Institute of Leadership Management.
