Five Wigan players named in latest England Knights squad

England Knights coach Paul Anderson has named a 27-man squad to prepare for internationals in 2021.

The Rugby Football League say discussions around the Knights’ fixtures for this year are underway and Anderson’s side will also join sessions with Shaun Wane’s senior squad this summer.

Wigan have supplied the most players with five, while Huddersfield and Leeds each have four representatives. Castleford, St Helens and Warrington each have three players in the squad. Players from nine Super League clubs are represented.

Leeds forward Alex Mellor, Castleford hooker Jacques O’Neill and Hull duo Joe Cator and Jordan Lane are new inclusions in the Knights squad.
