Fisher to keep his place

London assistant coach Ben Fisher is set to feature from the start in Saturday’s Magic Weekend clash against Catalan.

Fisher, 32, made his first start of the season against Wigan last week, with both of the Broncos’ specialist hookers on the sidelines through injury.

The Scotland international made the move to Twickenham Stoop from the Dragons in the off-season, joining the back-room staff.

Rea said: “It was always the plan for him to play. He wants to go to the World Cup with Scotland so he was never going to not play but I’ve definitely used him more than I thought I would.”

First choice hooker Chad Randall is currently sidelined with hamstring and groin injuries, while back-up Tommy Lee is facing six weeks out with a knee injury.
