First Utility Super League Player of the Month Award returns

Luke Gale, Robert Lui and Chris Sandow have been shortlisted for the First Utility Super League Player of the Month award.

The three halfbacks have been joined on the shortlist by hooker Danny Houghton ad winger Corey Thompson.

Back for the 2016 season, the First Utility Player of the Month gives fans the opportunity to vote for the league’s most outstanding player.

Five worthy players will make up the monthly shortlist, before supporters have the chance to vote for the final two via the First Utility Super League Facebook page. The two players with the most votes will then be considered by a judging panel before the overall winner is revealed.

Every fan who votes will be entered into a prize draw, with one lucky supporter getting the chance to present the First Utility Super League Player of the Month trophy to the winning player.

Fans have until 3pm March 3rd to register their votes for February’s First Utility Super League Player of the Month award.

Amanda Cumine, Director of Communications, added: “We’re delighted to be organising this award again this season. To put the power in the hands of the supporters makes the award more special for both the fans and the winning players. Alongside the expert views of our panel, fans can ensure that any who takes home the official First Utility Super League Player of the Month trophy is a worthy winner.”
