Felise Kaufusi commits future to Melbourne

Drew Darbyshire

Melbourne forward Felise Kaufusi has taken up the option to extend his contract with the club until the end of 2021.

The 27-year-old has scored 21 tries in 112 appearances for the Storm and helped the club win the NRL Grand Final back in 2017.

Kaufusi made his Origin debut for Queensland in 2018 and has since played six matches for the Maroons. He has earned three caps for Tonga and four caps for Australia.

A Melbourne statement read: “Off the field, Felise exemplifies Melbourne Storm’s club values and the club is delighted to have him on board until at least the end of the 2021 season.”
