Featherstone snap up Italy international

Featherstone have signed Italy international Dean Parata on a two-year deal from 2020.

The 27-year-old has made 26 appearances for Toulouse last season and has earned seven caps for Italy.

He has been part of the Italian national squad since 2013 and is the second Italy international to have signed for Rovers for 2020, with Alec Susino being announced earlier this month.

Before making the switch to Toulouse, Parata spent the 2018 season at Barrow, making 30 appearances for the Cumbrian club.

Parata is Featherstone’s fourth signing for next year, with the club having already announced Thomas Minns, Louis Jouffret and Susino as recruits for next year.
