Featherstone sack Papua New Guinea international Thompson Teteh

Featherstone have sacked centre Thompson Teteh for a serious breach of contract.

The 30-year-old was signed by the club ahead of the 2019 season and arrived alongside fellow Kumuls internationals Ase and Watson Boas.

Teteh – nicknamed the Terminator – was a part of the PNG side that made it to the quarter-finals of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

He had made six appearances for Rovers this season, the last coming at the end of June, and crossed four times.

In a statement released on their website, the club said they would be making no further comment about the incident which led to his dismissal.
