Featherstone release Frankie Mariano

Featherstone have released Frankie Mariano from the remainder of his contract by mutual consent.

Mariano arrived at the LD Nutrition Stadium ahead of the 2017 season and departs with immediate effect.

The decision allows the Scotland international to seek playing opportunities elsewhere.

In a short statement by Featherstone, the club said: “Featherstone Rovers officials would like to take this opportunity to thank Mariano for his efforts and wish him well for the future.”
