Featherstone Rovers have announced that James Green has joined the club from Hull Kingston Rovers on a month’s loan.
Green, 22, made his Super League debut for Hull KR last season and is a product of the Skirlaugh amateur club.
The prop forward already has experience of Championship rugby league, after playing nine games for Batley Bulldogs whilst on loan at the loverugbyleague stadium.
Featherstone coach Ryan Sheridan had this to say: “We’ve watched James and he’s a good player with a good physical presence about him.
“After an outstanding performance from 1 to 17 at Halifax in our last game we need competition for places and we need people snapping at other people’s heels and putting the pressure on.”
