An Andy Bostock hat-trick helped Featherstone top the table this evening with a comprehensive victory over Barrow.

The visitors started the brighter and scored in the first minute through Andy Ballard after the winger sprinted to the line after a fumble by Featherstone.

The hosts quickly gained control though with five tries in twenty minutes through Bostock, Smeaton, Powell, Kain and Dickens. Bostock scored his second try on the half time hooter to give the hosts a 28-6 lead at the break.

Featherstone continued to dominate at the start of the second half with Bostock completing his hat-trick on the 47th minute. Sam Smeaton and Jon Grayshon scored shortly after before Barrow hit back with a consolation try through Joe Wardle.

It was Featherstone who scored the final points of the game with Bryn Powell bagging his second try of the game. Despite a man of the match performance by Liam Finn, he only managed to convert four of the ten tries scored.
