Fax fix up pre season friendly

Halifax RLFC will begin their preparations for 2007 with a friendly against Keighley Cougars at the Shay on Thursday 28th December (8.00pm).

The fixture will take the place of the usual clash against Huddersfield, who have opted to decline the chance of taking part in the usual festive "Infirmary Cup" clash.

"It's always nice to have a festive game in there somewhere and this fits the bill nicely," said Fax boss Martin Hall. "It's good for the supporters and it's a match we'll be looking to win. It will give some of the lads a chance to blow out a few cobwebs early on."

The club are hoping to schedule two more warm up matches before the end of January.
