USA international Bureta Faraimo arrived in Hull this week and has gone straight in to pre-season training.

One of two new recruits in the off-season, along with Mickey Paea, Faraimo arrives at the Challenge Cup holders from Parramatta.

He told the club’s official website: “I can’t wait to put that jersey on and I’ve heard a lot of stories that the fans are really passionate over here and I can’t wait to get amongst the action.

“I had a look up about Hull FC and it’s a good club and I know they’ve won the Challenge Cup the last two years and that’s massive. I hope I can continue the success the club has already had.

“I’m still trying to get my head wrapped around the Super League concept, but the whole buzz around the knock-out comps and all the trophies within the competition itself is exciting and I’m really keen to get involved.”

Faraimo, 27, starred in the World Cup for USA and could make his first bow for the Airlie Birds in their pre-season friendly against Hull KR in January.
