Farah: one of our best wins

Wests skipper Robbie Farah has labelled the Tigers’ semi-final victory over Canberra on Friday as one of the club’s best ever wins

The Tigers scored four tries and survived a late penalty miss to triumph 26-24 and book their place in the NRL preliminary final against St George on Saturday.

Coming off a brutal golden-point loss against the Roosters the previous week, Farah said the Tigers showed their toughness to come through and triumph at Canberra stadium.

“It goes to show how tough a group we are,” Farah said.

“After last week I don’t think anyone gave us a chance coming down here but we put last week behind us and that was pretty tough to do.

“To come down here and get a win away from home with so many injuries backing up after a hundred minutes, it was probably one of the best wins the club has ever had.”
