Fages requests transfer from Salford

Salford owner Dr Marwan Koukash has confirmed that French scrum-half Theo Fages has requested a transfer from the club.

But anyone who wants to acquire the 20-year-old’s services would need to pay big money.

“Theo did hand in a transfer request,” said Koukash.

“But if anybody wants to buy him, it would have to be for a world-record transfer.

“He is the hottest property in Super League.”
