Fa’asavalu out for three months
St Helens prop Maurie Fa’asavalu has been ruled out for three months with a broken arm.
The England international suffered the injury in the 40-26 win over Warrington on Saturday.
He will miss the next 10 to 12 weeks the club have confirmed following an operation on Monday.
Assistant Kieron Purtill said: “There were a few bumps and bruises from a tough game, but the biggest concern is Maurie who has a broken arm and had an operation yesterday.
“He is going to be a big loss to us.”
Saints are already without Kiwi front-rower Jason Cayless and youngster Gareth Frodsham.
