Harlequins hooker Chad Randall has become the latest player to commit with the London club, signing a new two year deal.

Randall, 28, joined the club from Manly in 2006 and has now committed to Quins until the end of 2011. He has not missed a game in his three years at the club.

He said: “I am really happy to commit to Harlequins Rugby League for the next few seasons. It’s a great club and my family and I are very settled and enjoying our lives in London.”

On his remarkable run of consecutive appearances Randall commented: “There is a bit of luck involved, but it is also due to determination and the support from our coaching staff. They’re always looking at ways to keep us fresh and on the field, assessing what each individual needs.”

Head coach, Brian McDermott, said: “Chad Randall is hugely influential to our team, both on and off the field, and his decision to extend his contract highlights a very promising future for this club.

“For a player that plays in the position he does, and not to miss a game for nearly two and half seasons speaks volumes of his toughness, resilience and how much he takes care of himself professionally.”
