Evans eager to keep run going

Rhys Evans is hoping Warrington can take inspiration from last weekend’s last gasp victory over Wakefield when they visit Hull on Friday.

Tom Lineham’s late try secured a 22-20 success to make it four wins in a row for the resurgent Wolves and Evans want more of the same at Hull.

“Leaving it until the last minute is never easy for either the players or the fans, but it was good to get to over in the last minute,” said Evans.

“It was a good try by Tommy to get the win and hopefully we can build on that and put in a better performance this week.

“When you’re winning games it brings confidence – over the last month we’ve kicked on as a squad and hopefully we can keep this run going.

“I’ve been playing alright recently too, but obviously you can always improve on every aspect of your game and fingers crossed I can carry on over the next few weeks.”
