Salford youngster Niall Evalds has penned a new two-year deal at the club.

Evalds, 19, follows hot on the heels of Marc Sneyd in signing an extension, having burst on to the scene this season with a memorable try against Leeds at Headingley.

Reds assistant coach Alan Hunte said: “We are really pleased to announce these deals this week. Both Niall and Marc Sneyd have come through our ranks and as supporters have seen this season, both are incredibly exciting talents capable of making a real impact on this competition over the coming years.

“Things are changing at Salford are we are delighted that the two lads have committed to our vision for the future of the Reds.”

Evalds made a try-scoring debut against Catalan earlier this season, playing on the wing.
