Ellis to face Dons with Hull FC

Hull FC coach Lee Radford has confirmed that some senior players are in his plans for the club’s final preseason friendly, at Doncaster on Sunday.

While some youngsters will be used by the coach, senior players like Gareth Ellis will also be getting game minutes under their belts.

“There will be some youngsters involved on Sunday,” Radford told his club’s official website.

“It will be the last chance to wear some bumps and bruises before the Wakefield fixture.

“Gareth Ellis will probably get a run out, Josh Bowden will probably get a run out, Chris Green will get a run out and Jake Connor will too and there will be a couple of more.

“It will be the last chance to wear some bumps and bruises before the Wakefield fixture.”
