Elliott Whitehead to play for Rams

Bradford second row Elliott Whitehead is to be loaned out to Championship side Dewsbury.

Whitehead, 23, has submitted a transfer request to the Bulls as he wants to join a top-four Super League club.

However, no offers have been made for him meaning he has no option but to join the Bulls’ partnership club if he wants first-team rugby.

Hull FC were linked with Whitehead last season but whether they reignite their interest or not remains to be seen.
