Elima facing lengthy ban

Catalan captain Olivier Elima could be facing a ban of up to five matches after being handed a disciplinary charge.

Elima, 30, was charged with the Grade D offence of making a dangerous contact with the legs of Hull’s Aaron Heremaia during the Super League clash on Friday, which carries a suspension tariff of 3-5 matches.

He will appear before an RFL Disciplinary Tribunal on Tuesday evening.

Hull KR prop Michael Weyman has been charged with the Grade C offence of making dangerous contact with the legs of Leeds prop Jamie Peacock on Sunday. He has until 11am to submit an Early Guilty Plea.
