Elima charged for tackle

Bradford forward Olivier Elima faces a ban for his late tackle on Lee Gaskell in their Super League win on Saturday.

Elima, 28, has been charged with committing a Grade B dangerous tackle offence after the Match Review Panel viewed the incident, and he will now face the RFL disciplinary committee.

The French international back-rower was making his first appearance of the season, meaning he has now appeared in each of the last 11 Super League seasons.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield’s Jason Chan and Castleford’s Nathan Massey have been issued with formal cautions for dangerous contact in their match on Friday.
