Warrington have announced contract extensions for 11 of their players.

Ryan Atkins, Simon Grix and Ben Harrison have agreed four-year deals that will keep them at the club until the end of the 2017 season, while Joel Monaghan and Glenn Riley have signed three-year extensions.

Chris Riley, Micky Higham, Paul Wood, Ryan Shaw and Danny Bridge have all negotiated two-year contracts, with hooker Michael Monaghan confirming a one-year deal.

Wolves head coach Tony Smith is very pleased with the news and he said:

“We are delighted to be retaining the stability of our squad and we are really pleased that these players are staying on to help continue to build this great club.

“We’ve got some terrific young players coming through and the consistency of our senior players has been fantastic as well.

“We are delighted that we will only have a small turnover of players once again; that’s the way we like it at Warrington.”
