North Wales centre Earl Hurst has signed a new deal for the 2020 season.

The 30-year-old has enjoyed two spells with the Crusaders since 2016, scoring 23 tries in 64 appearances for the club.

Crusaders coach Anthony Murray said: “He’s another player who has come out of the amateur ranks and gone from strength-to-strength.

“He had a short spell away from the club but, when he returned, you could tell he’d benefitted from playing at a higher level.

“Earl’s re-signing shows our intention to keep hold of our best players as we prepare for next season.

“He’s a senior player in our team now and will be a key part of the squad moving forward.”
