Australian half-back Dylan Skee has signed a new deal to stay at London Skolars.

Skee, 26, has spent the past two seasons with the club, and scored 226 points in 22 starts last year.

He said: “Every year I’ve been here the club’s been building and hopefully next year we can get that promotion. Last year was a good season and next year we want to push on a lot more. It was a good season for me personally and hopefully I can push on as well.”

Formerly with Harlequins for three years, Skee had a brief stint at Whitehaven before returning to the capital, and broke the Skolars’ club record for points in a game, scoring 28 points in the victory over South Wales in July.

Skolars Head Coach Joe Mbu said: “This is a great signing for us. Over the last two seasons Dylan has been one of our best players. He’s been a big influence and made a big impact and is the kind of player you can build the team around.”
