Dom Speakman and Frazer Morris have signed new deals with Dewsbury.

Half-back or hooker Speakman, 25, joined the Rams towards the end of last season after being released by Widnes. He has signed a one-year deal with Dewsbury.

Prop Morris, 22, linked up with Dewsbury midway through 2019 from Halifax and has now signed a two-year deal with the club.

Dewsbury coach Lee Greenwood commented: “I am really pleased we’ve managed to secure Dom for next season.

“He impressed me immediately after joining during last season and it’s great that he’ll be with us from day one of pre-season. He’s a smart and tough player and I feel like him and Sam Day will compliment each other well next year.”

“I thought Frazer did well since joining us part way through the season.

“He is a solid front rower with minimal errors and good discipline. I feel like there is a lot more to come from him too. With a big pre-season he could be a very important part of our team next year.”
