Wigan prop Gil Dudson broke a hand in the loss to Leeds on Friday.
Dudson, 22, is the latest Warriors player in the treatment room and although the timescale of his absence is as yet unknown, he is a major doubt for Saturday’s clash against Widnes.
Coach Shaun Wane said: “Gil’s broken a bone in his hand. He’s waiting to see a specialist to see how bad it is, but I would say he’s very doubtful for this weekend.”
Wane has been boosted, however, by the news that Epalahame Lauaki could soon make a return to action following a leg injury, possibly as early as this weekend.
