Josh Drinkwater re-joins Catalans

Catalans Dragons have announced that halfback Josh Drinkwater will re-join the Perpignan-based side on a two year deal. 

Drinkwater, 27, spent the latter part of the 2018 season with Catalan before joining Hull KR ahead of the 2019 season.

He was a part of Catalans’ historic 2018 Challenge Cup triumph over Warrington Wolves, and has also appeared for London Broncos, Leigh Centurions, St George Illawarra Dragons and Wests Tigers.

“I am very happy to be returning to the club,” said Drinkwater.

“Winning the Challenge Cup was a moment I won’t forget and hopefully we can have more moments like that. I’m excited to start the preseason with the boys and to run out again in front of the passionate Catalans fans.”
