Dragons drop Fakir

Winless Catalan have dropped international prop Jamil Fakir to reserve grade.

Fakir, 31, will play for Saint-Estève XIII Catalan until the end of the French Elite Championship, after a meeting between Chairman Bernard Guasch, CEO Christophe Jouffret and the coaching staff.

It was also decided that full-back Brent Webb will be subjected to a series of medical tests following his failure to rediscover his form and confidence after back surgery.

In other news, the Dragons’ home game with Huddersfield on Saturday March 22 has been moved to a 18:30 (local time) kick-off.
