Bradford hooker Heath L’Estrange will be out of action for ten weeks after fracturing his ankle while Chev Walker has also been ruled out for a month.

L’Estrange picked up the injury while tackling Ryan O’Hara during the Bulls 30-26 defeat of Crusaders on Saturday.

The 25-year-old has struck up a good partnership with close season signing Matt Diskin and Bradford coach Mick Potter admits the injury is blow.

“It’s disappointing that Heath will miss the next ten weeks because that part of the team – with Matt Diskin and Heath in the hooking role – have been working very well for us but we’ll just have to manage,” he said.

Walker suffered a torn pectoral muscle while attempting a tackle in the same game but Potter hopes that the 28-year-old will be back in action soon.
