Doncaster winger Kieron Lawton has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The youngster joined the Dons from local amateur side Toll Bar during last season, playing two games for Richard Horne’s side.

Lawton said: “I am over the moon to be staying at my hometown club for another year and I’m very grateful for the opportunity.

“Last season was a success for me personally and my aim is just to carry on improving and push to play as much as possible.

“I’ve been working hard in pre-season training as well as working with accelerate coaching to get me into the best shape I can be heading into the season.”
