Doncaster are set to hold their Championship One clash with Rochdale in memory of Rifleman Liam Maughan.

Liam died from wounds received as a result of small arms fire which occurred near Sangin, in Helmand province, during the morning of Saturday 6 March 2010.

He was 18 when he died, and had yet to meet his newborn son. He was a member of the 3rd Battalion The Rifles (3 RIFLES).

Doncaster have planned a special day against the Hornets, and will be joined by the army who will form a guard of honour as the player’s walk out on to the field.
