Dom Manfredi is set to make a long-awaited return for Wigan on Thursday, while Wakefield have made two changes.

Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane has made one change to his side that beat St Helens last week. Manfredi could play his first top level game in two years after a lengthy spell out of the game with a knee injury. He replaces Samy Kibula.

After a family bereavement over the weekend, Dan Sarginson has made himself available for selection. On Sarginson’s potential involvement on Thusday, Warriors’ executive director Kris Radlinski said: “Dan has made the decision to make himself available for Thursday’s game, but we will continue to monitor his situation as we have a duty of care to him as one of our players.

“He has our full support throughout this extremely difficult time for him and his family and there’s absolutely no pressure on him to play.”

Chris Chester has made two changes to his Wakefield Trinity team that beat Huddersfield Giants last week. Chris Annakin and Joe Arundel come in for Max Jowitt and Anthony England.

The televised Super 8s clash takes place at the DW Stadium on Thursday, 7:45pm kick-off.
