Albanian prop Erjon Dollapi has agreed a new one-year deal at London Broncos.

Dollapi, 21, is a product of the club’s academy and made eight first team appearances last season, as well as spending time on dual-registration with London Skolars.

Head coach Joey Grima said: “Dollapi showed some good promise in 2014 and I’m pleased to have him on board for the coming season. He is another player who has come through our youth set up and worked hard to make it to the first grade and should be applauded for that.

“The key for Dollapi this season is to work alongside some of the more experienced forwards in our pack to help bring his game up to the next level.”

Dollapi, who played for West London Sharks as a junior, made his Super League debut in April 13 having come through the Broncos scholarship at Under 16s and then progressing to the Under 19s academy.

He said: “There are a lot of changes and Joey has really taken the club forward.

“Joey coaching is one of the main reasons I came back. And the older players with mature heads that I can learn from. I’m still a young player and I’ve got a lot to learn.”
