Hull KR coach Tim Sheens praised new signing Zach Dockar-Clay after he crossed for a try less than five minutes in to his debut at the weekend.

Rovers made it 10 consecutive wins in all competitions with a 52-18 thumping of Swinton Lions at Heywood Road.

Sheens told the club’s official website: “I’ve seen Zach play and I recruited him on the basis of what I saw.

“I’ve seen the same from him again today.

“He’s got a lovely right-foot step, he’s sharp and he didn’t use his kicking game today but he’s got that as well.

“Gradually we’ll bring him in more and more.”
