Dewsbury make eight new signings

Dewsbury have announced eight new signings as they prepare for the championship in 2010.

Italy international Dominic Brambani has agreed to join the Rams from Australian side Hinterland Storm, and is no stranger to these shores following spells at Sheffield and Castleford.

Warren Jowitt has also signed winger Stewart Sanderson, who was Gateshead’s top try scorer in 2009 with 22, and versatile three-quarter Scott Turner from Castleford.

Props Luke Stenchion and Luke Menzies arrive from Batley and Oldham respectively, while stand off Rob Lunt arrives from Huddersfield hoping to follow his brother Shaun in to Super League.

Former Castleford props Anthony England and Danny Richardson have also joined the club.

A statement on the club website also read: “We are also in negotiations with 3 other players, a very hard working 2nd row forward who will be a good asset to the pack and a quality centre who has been very unfortunate to not be playing in Super League already.”
