Scott Turner is ruled out after suffering a broken hand during Dewsbury’s 37-30 win against Halifax last week.
Turner’s centre partner for that match, Ayden Faal, is also struggling. “We’re trying to nurse him through at the moment,” said coach Warren Jowitt.
Rams are still waiting for the results of a scan on Austin Buchanan’s knee.
Jowitt added: “Toulouse are a very decent side.
“We’ve already played them at the beginning of the year, and we should have beaten them. We ran out of juice in the last 10 minutes, but recently we’ve had a good win against Keighley and a great win against Halifax.
“We’ve got to keep building on that. There are good vibes around the club, we’re itching for the game and there’s a lot of self-belief. If we could play the game tonight, we would.”
However, Toulouse will not be short of confidence. Last week they won 42-40 at Batley before beating Whitehaven 34-12 four days later.
But the news that Constant Villegas has been ruled out for the rest of the season after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament at Batley will come as a major blow.
