The Rugby Football League’s match review panel have given Dec Patton a Grade E charge for gouging and the Bradford half-back will face a tribunal.

The Grade E gouging charge comes with a ban of four to eight matches, so Patton could spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Patton’s charge comes after Bradford’s 22-6 defeat to rivals Halifax at last weekend’s Summer Bash. He will be available to play their upcoming match against Workington this Sunday.
