De Gois knocks back Super League

Parramatta hooker Isaac De Gois has knocked back a move to Super League and is set to re-sign with the Eels.

De Gois is off-contract and was expected to be squeezed out by Parramatta next year because of salary cap issues.

The veteran has attracted Super League interest. But De Gois is now finalising a new deal at the Eels after agreeing terms.

“I’m pretty much done, [for] a couple of years,” De Gois told The Sydney Morning Herald.

“I’m very happy. I love the club, the coaching staff are great and it’s always a pleasure waking up and training with the boys.”
