Davies set for Castleford move

Prop Ben Davies is set to join Castleford for the rest of the season following his release by Widnes.

Davies, 23, has recently been on loan at South Wales Scorpions and left the Vikings by mutual consent having made just one Super League appearance this season.

He is now set for a return to the Tigers, where he spent time on loan in 2011.

Davies tweeted: “To those asking, I’ll be joining Castleford till the end of the season and hopefully beyond that. Loved it when I went there last time.”
