David Hodgson to take charge of Hull KR as Tony Smith isolates

Hull Kingston Rovers have confirmed that following contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19, head coach Tony Smith is following Government guidance and self-isolating for the next 14 days.

The players were informed this morning, and tonight’s fixture with Castleford will go ahead as planned.

Assistant coach David Hodgson will be taking control of all first team coaching affairs until Smith returns to work.
